This privacy policy regulates how Paradigm Insights (hereafter called "The Company") collects, stores and uses data collected from the employees (hereafter called "The Users") of The Company's customers (hereafter called "The Organisations") through the website "www.paradigminsights.org" (hereafter called "The Website").

Personal data

The Company can collect personal data in a number of ways including, but not limited to, when The Users are entering data into the forms on The Website, if it's given by The Organisation or if The User has authorised us to collect this data from third party companies such as Garmin.

The Company will only collect personal data, when The User voluntarily gives this information or voluntarily authorises The Company to collect it. Users can always choose not to give us this information, but this might prohibit them from using certain functionality of The Website.

After The User has authorised The Company to gain access to their data collected by Garmin, through Garmin's API, The Company will also be able to collect and store personal information such as:

  • Heart Rate and Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
  • Sleep duration and quality
  • Activity, strain, and motion data
  • Estimated fatigue and recovery levels
  • Stress indicators

The User can always take back consent to The Company collecting personal data.

Non personal data

The Company can collect non-personal data as soon as The User visits The Website. Non-personal data includes browser name, operating system, how their device has connected to The Website, their IP address and other similar information.

Purpose of data collection

The Company collects and stores this data to enable them to:

  • Conduct an analysis of the performance and wellbeing of The Users of The Organisation to present to The Organisation.
  • Improve the user experience on The Website

Data controller and data processor

The Organisation acts as the data controller, meaning they don't have access to any raw data, but merely views and controls the presented data.

The Company acts as the data processor, meaning that The Company has access to raw personal data

Web browser cookies

The Website uses "cookies" to improve The User's experience. The cookies will be saved on their browser's database and will be collected with the purpose of how they move around on The Website as well as tracking how they got onto the website and other related data.

Users can reject the use of cookies but this could limit the functionality of The Website.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

The Company doesn't sell, rent or share any personal data with any third party company or person. The Company only shares the data with The Organisation of which The User is employed at.

Data retention

The Company will keep the personal data for as long as it's necessary and will hereafter be safely deleted.

The Company implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or destruction.

User rights

As per GDPR you have the following rights:

  • To access your data
  • To correct any errors regarding your data
  • To delete your data
  • To object to any data processing
